An Easy Homemade Yogurt & Blueberry Dog Treat!

A simple and delicious dog treat with basic ingredients and a ton of benefits!

Sick of spending money on dog treats with ingredients you can’t even pronounce? I know, I am too.

This homemade dog treat recipe is really simple and most of the ingredients you probably already have (and even eat yourself).

What you will need: Greek plain yogurt, peanut butter, blueberries (frozen or fresh) and 1 banana.

Greek yogurt is well-known for its rich probiotics which help balance friendly bacteria in our digestives systems. Dogs are of no exception to this as well. The probiotics are also helpful to dogs who suffer from frequent ear and skin infections. This super rich yogurt is also higher in protein than any other yogurt which will benefit dogs that have issues consuming proper amounts of proteins.

Adding bananas to this scrumptious treat provides a natural source of potassium and are low in cholesterol and sodium. However, this tasty fruit is high in sugar, so feed in moderation.
